IMEC33 postponed until further notice

It is with great regret that 2022 International Maritime English Conference (IMEC33) in Novorossiysk, Russia, is postponed until further notice.

The IMLA and IMEC committees have taken this decision in the light of the war in Ukraine and the general geopolitical unrest in the Black Sea area, which will undoubtedly deter and/or prevent delegates from travelling to Russia.

We were so much looking forward to meeting with you again in person in 2022 and to catching up with Maritime English matters. It saddens us that this now seems unlikely. We are currently looking at alternatives and will be in touch should we find opportunities.

In the meantime, we wish you all the best.
