2021 Maritime Instructors Training Course Held Online

Sponsored by the Shanghai Municipal Government, IMLA had successfully held the fourth Advanced Training Program for Maritime Instructors and Administrators from MET Institutions with Shanghai Maritime University from 22nd October – 5th, November 2021.

Over 200 foreign trainees from maritime institutes in Bangladesh, Bulgaria, Croatia, the Philippines, Ghana, Pakistan, Romania, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Turkey, Ukraine and other countries participated in the training online. A series of webinars had been delivered throughout the 3-week course with a wide range of topics concerning the maritime education and training.

Since 2018, IMLA has continued its efforts to build the Advanced Training Program for Maritime Instructors and Administrators from MET Institutions a brand course, aiming to provide a professional maritime education exchange platform for global participants and promote high-quality and sustainable development of maritime education and training.

Chair of IMLA-IMEC Ms. Alison Noble and IMLA Committee Member Mr. Cox Quentin joined the Course and contributed their respective expertise.
