AASTMT Ceremony for the Egyptian National Karate Cadet and Junior Team

The Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) had hold a Ceremony to honor the Egyptian National Karate Cadet and Junior Team on Wednesday 12- 12- 2013, at AASTMT, where the team had won the first place in the World Championship of Karate, which was held in Spain after collecting 15 medals in the tournament in which more than 100 countries had participated.

It is worth mentioning that the athletes’ team members who had achieved medals will receive scholarships in various disciplines at AASTMT, as AASTMT will honor the national team players athletes with medals.

On the sidelines of the ceremony, AASTMT had honored Captain Mohamed Ali Rashwan - Egyptian Olympic champion in judo, Captain Tariq ElAshry- coach of Ahly Benghazi of Libya and Captain Remah Abu Zeid - the former player at the Egyptian football team, as AASTMT had also honored the sports journalists, and that was held in the presence of H.E Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghafar Ismail Farag – AASTMT President, Dr. Amr Shawky - Undersecretary of the Egyptian Ministry of Youth and Sports in Alexandria, H.E Dr. Ayman Abdul Hameed Farghali - President Of Egypt Karate Federation and H.E the members of the Board of Directors of the Egyptian Federation of Karate.
