IMLA Chair Met with IMO Assistant Secretary-General Mr. Lawrence D. Barchue

On 1st March 2018, IMLA Honorary Chair Prof. Dr. Jin Yongxing met with Mr. Lawrence D. Barchue, IMO Assistant Secretary-General/Director of Department for Member State Audit and Implementation Support, when he was making a technical visit to Shanghai.  
 
Prof. Jin presented major activities IMLA has lately initiated and implemented including the METTC (Maritime English Teacher Training Course) held in the year 2017, and highlighted the main responsibilities the IMLA Secretariat undertakes as an operational office for the Association. Mr. Lawrence D. Barchue expressed his high appreciations to IMLA's consistent contribution to the world MET and affirmed that IMO will continue offering their support.
