IMLA Chairman Visit UMIP
Dr. and Professor Jin Yongxing, Chairman of IMLA visited the International Maritime University Of Panama on June 28th. Mr. President Aladar Rodriguez Diaz welcome and held talk friendly with Professor Jin. Magter Gloria Quintero, Administrative Vice Rector , Professor Jessica Bloise, Vice-Rector for Research, Postgraduate and Extension, Ing. Faustino Gonuzalez , Academic Vice-Rector and other deans and directors of UMIP attended the meeting. Professor Jin gave the introduction about IMLA issues including IMLA membership, annual conference and participating IMO activities etc.. Then both sides had warm discussion on strengthening the bonds and the cooperation between IMLA and UMIP.
The beautiful campus of UMIP is located on the bank of Panama Canal and near the Bridge of the Americas which connecting the North America and South America. The cadets and graduates of UMIP are warmly welcomed by the shipping industry.
