Representative from Maritime Academy of Asia and Pacific Visited IMLA Secretariat
As the host and organizer of the 25th IMLA Conference to be held in 2018, Maritime Academy of Asia and Pacific (MAAP) delegated Mr Michael Amon, MAAP’s Quality Management Officer, to pay a visit to IMLA Secretariat in Shanghai on 28th November 2017.
In meeting with Mr Michael Amon, IMLA Chair Prof. Jin Yongxing praised MAAP for their uptake of organization for a major conference of IMLA25 and recognized the capacity and professionalism MAAP showed in organizing events for IMLA in the past, and he hoped that the next year’s event would be another highlight of gatherings for maritime lecturers through collaborations with MAAP.
A day-long coordinating meeting was followed to fix details of arrangements for the upcoming conference as well as other relevant issues.
The 25th IMLA Conference, to be hosted by MAAP next October in Philippine, Manila, will also include the 30th IMEC-International Maritime English Conference, and the 14th ICERS-International Conference of Engine Room Simulators.
