SMU 2013 Summer Study and Internship Abroad Programs Finished Successfully

In order to push forward SMU’s internationalization and strengthen the efforts in personnel training, SMU had launched 9 richly colorful study abroad programs during 2013 summer. 156 students from different colleges head for the following universities for study: University of Plymouth (UK), University of Western Australia (Australia), Saint Martin's University (US), California State University Long Beach and so on; and some of them had internships at IAESTE Beserler Mobilya, Singunion Shipping Pte. Ltd. and Bilsea Group, etc. At present, SMU Students successfully completed their study or internship and came back to school.
While overseas, SMU students not only had specialized courses and language cultural lessons hosted by each program sponsor, but attended various lectures. In addition, program sponsors arranged colorful culture exchange activities for them, helped them get familiar with local history and culture and broadened their horizon. Through kept in good spirits and studied hard, the participants erected a positive image of SMU, which won compliments from the program sponsors.
