SMU Hosted 2014 APRC Ad hoc Meeting of International Association of Maritime Universities (IAMU)

From September 25 to 27, the 2014 Academic Program Review Committee’s Ad Hoc Meeting of International Association of Maritime Universities (IAMU) was held at SMU. Experts from World Maritime University, Constanta Maritime University (Romania), Nicola Vaptsarov Naval Academy and Shanghai Maritime University reviewed on the 2014 research projects of IAMU. During the meeting, Prof. Jin Yongxing warmly met with the secretary general of IAMU, Mr. Takeshi Nakazawa and the other evaluation experts.

IAMU was founded in 1999 and currently have 55 members. As a member of IAMU Executive Board, SMU engaged in the relevant works of Sub-Committee on IAMU Academic Project, Financial Sub-Committee and Nomination Sub-Committee.
